SIX THOUSAND FLASH-LIGHTS / ODESA

Challenging hot weather conditions, a present from the soldiers, six thousand flash-lights at the “Spartak” stadium, and Taras Topolia dressed in vyshyvanka – this is how the “ANTYTILA” band have celebrated the Independence Day. On August, 24, in Odesa, already the fourth gig took place within the successful stadium tour Hello by “ANTYTILA” band, performed across the cities of Ukraine in support of the new album of the same name, says the media office of the band.

In Odesa, it was a special gig, as it fell on a festive day - the Independence Day. The atmosphere at the stadium was respective. A lot of people came to the gig dressed in vyshyvankas and took yellow-and-blue flags with them. It also didn't go without surprises from the band.

Taras Topolia stepped onto a massive stage, five-storeyed house in size, dressed in the designer white vyshyvanka. There was the symbol of life and development embroidered on it - the tree, where the elements symbolized: the roots - the past, the trunk - the present, and the big crown - the future. The fans of "ANTYTILA" from Odesa were happy to hear the song "Завжди моя" ('Zavzhdy moia' / 'Forever mine'), devoted to Ukraine and its defenders.

It's worth to note that the song "Буде син" ('Bude syn' / 'It will be son') from the new album Hello is breaking records in number of views on YouTube official channel of "ANTYTILA" band among the songs not having an official video.

“At first, we were losing our breath from the heat, and then from the love to the people having come. The atmosphere in Odesa was very special. Maybe, it was the festive mood of the Independence Day, or, maybe, Odesa citizens had been waiting for us for long at the stadiums, or maybe, we had missed the drive after Poltava. Or, maybe, everything came together. We remembered how the whole pitch was lifting off to the beat in tandem to the song “Ми”. Nowhere was such a unity”, – Taras Topolia commented.

The “ANTYTILA” band have also received presents from Odesa citizens. The soldiers of the 28th separate mechanized brigade of Odesa named by the Knights of Winter March and the soldiers of the 7th separate signal regiment came to the press conference taking place before the gig.

The soldiers wanted to thank for active support to the soldiers during battling in the east of Ukraine during 5 years and gave a brigade flag as a present together with the commendation for the “ANTYTILA” band.

Mining, scandal with tickets and flash mob from the fans, what the first gigs of the stadium tour Hello by ANTYTILA stayed in memory with.

On June 15, the gig of ANTYTILA took place at the stadium «Vorskla named after O. Butkovskyi» in Poltava. It's the third gig out of five within the stadium tour “Hello”, having happened in support of the new album of the same name. In the West and East almost 50 000 people have already heard and sung «Hello» together with the ANTYTILA band. Odesa and Kyiv are ahead.
The tour «Hello» is remarkable for ANTYTILA and Ukrainian show business as a whole.

In the year 2018, the musicians were not only the first to have announced their stadium tour, they also were the first to have later used extra modern sound and light equipment on their gigs around Ukraine with support of the technical partner PR music. This is exactly the equipment used by the stars worldwide: Daddy Yankee, Tokio Hotel, etc. Everything became possible thanks to the long term preparation and work of a big team counting about 100 people. The members of the team do a great amount of work every day so that modern Ukrainian music sounded powerfully in the five cities planned in the tour.

Let’s sum up what the gigs of ANTYTILA in Lviv, Kharkiv and Poltava stayed in memory with for the audience and organizers… 
Little was said about it, but two first gigs of the Hello tour were close to the edge for different reasons. Thus, in Lviv, after the first stage of the tour promotional campaign, the Federation of Football of Ukraine demanded to reschedule the gig because of worries for possible damage of the new pitch cover of the stadium «Lviv Arena», having been laid before the match of the National team of Ukraine. The representatives of the band have defended the event, though they had to accept the limitations and use just a half of the stadium having moved the stage and minimizing the threats for the pitch cover and the upcoming football match.

And a few days before the gig in Kharkiv the manager of the ANTYTILA band Serhii Vusyk was regularly getting messages about possible mining of the stadium and offers to «get the situation right» for some reward.
Here we should give thanks to the managers as well as the members of MIA and Security Department of Ukraine in Kharkiv who have taken control of this situation. It’s worth mentioning that the preparation and promotional campaign for the Kharkiv gig weren’t stopping even after the imposing the martial law in autumn 2018, though a lot of events have been canceled in Kharkiv after that. 
The preparation of the gig in Poltava also hasn’t avoided a scandal: the former mayor of the town and a potential candidate for deputies Oleksandr Mamai has officially bought 700 tickets from ANTYTILA and started to spread themfor free among the citizens of the town which has interested the media greatly.

But despite all the shades of the preparation process the thing having stayed in memory of the people in Lviv, Kharkiv and Poltava the best was a unique atmosphere of unity which only ANTYTILA are peculiar for. It’s worth mentioning that at these three gigs there were lots of the band’s fans having arrived from different countries: the USA, Germany, Great Britain, Hungary, the Netherlands, Israel, etc.

«We’ve crossed the halfway mark of the tour! To say that we are excited means to say nothing. We’ve expected dozens of thousands of people in Lviv, and this happened. But we exactly weren’t ready for those number of people and courage in Kharkiv and Poltava. Everything having happened to ANTYTILA during last month is some kind of magic. Our fans are gathering from around the world. Could we imagine that they would fly from Austin, Minsk? And to Lviv those would be Switzerland, Canada and Israel. We’rebringing HELLO to Odesa on July 24! It’s gonna be independent, free and hot. And we’re seriously thinking about widening the geographyof the stadium tour», confesses Taras Topolia.

ANTYTILA prepared music surprises for each city. Thus, in Lviv about fifty children have performed with the band on the stage, they have interpreted the song «Лови момент» in gesture language. Also the presentation of the song and video «Symphony» in collaboration with the band Clean Bandit took place in Lviv. The guests from Kharkiv and Poltava have heard Taras Topolia featuring Oleksii Verenchyk from the DETACH band. They have performed the song «Смотри в меня» together. The ANTYTILA fan club members also didn’t trail far behind and greeted ANTYTILA in original way. During the performance of the song «Hello» they have raised hundreds of banners with the name of the song.

In Kharkiv and Poltava the audience have also greeted Taras Topolia’s parents having visited exactly these cities. Due to some conditions of life they rarely visit performances of ANTYTILA. 
What remained unchanged in each city were the music program from ANTYTILA lasting for two hours and a half, the show with graphic and visual effects, and an exclusive semicircle shaped open stage of more than forty metres having been created special for the HELLO tour. The stadium tour «Hello» is going on. The next gig is going to take place on August, 24, in the city of Odesa at the «Spartak» Stadium, and the tour’s going to finish on November, 17, in the Palace of Sports in Kyiv.

PREMIERE. ANTYTILA have presented their work in collaboration with a famous British band Clean Bandit.

The video and song created in collaboration with the Grammy owner - the Clean Bandit band. The representatives of the British band contacted ANTYTILA and offered to join the International project within which they had to create their own version of a famous song in Ukrainian. ANTYTILA have accepted, and the two bands have united for a music experiment in Ukraine.

It should be noted that ANTYTILA'S fans were the first to observe the video and song «Symphony» (TBRG Open x Clean Bandit - Official Cover) on May 25, during a massive gig at Lviv Arena having started the stadium tour «Hello» across the cities of Ukraine. Almost 20 000 people having gathered at the stadium appreciated the work with tremendous applause.

The ANTYTILA band have brought national colours with their arrangement having added Ukrainian music instruments and Ukrainian lyrics to the song by Clean Bandit. The experiments in the band's collaboration weren't limited with the music part but can be observed in the video as well. Following the director Eugene's idea ANTYTILA have shot the video about how the shootings of the videos take place. 

«The task we had wasn't simple - to shoot the video on the song «Symphony», the original version of which is a world hit having 800 millions views on YouTube. We had about five ideas from which we've stopped on the most challenging one. Such shooting style is not typical for our show business, it is customery to us to fill the «format», it's about the videos as well. But I have always wanted to show the viewer what the shooting process is like from the director's position, and what an enormous amount of work of the whole team is behind the creation of the final video. I'm sure many people will change their vision of it after watching this video,» - shared his thoughts the director Eugene.

The shooting took place in Kyiv, and the post production was made by the crew of HEADSHOT studio. It's not the first collaboration of ANTYTILA with this crew. It's already made post productions for the videos «Лови момент» and «Hello».

«It was an interesting experience of working with a world level artist for us. There were some kind of difficult details as we're divided by a great distance, and sometimes it was hard to communicate quickly. The main thing is that we've always made all our creative decisions by ourselves, and this time we needed to coordinate everything with our creative partners. But in the end everything was okay. I'm sure that our version of the song will be liked by millions of fans,» - gave his comment the leader of the band Taras Topolia. 

Clean Bandit, a trio of Grace Chatto and two brothers Luke and Jack Patterson, have also told how pleasing it was to collaborate with ANTYTILA band. Speaking of the results of this collaboration Grace Chatto said: "We are glad to work with the ANTYTILA band and find out more about people and places inspiring them to new music experiments. It's an interesting experience for us, and we've been looking forward to the results of our collaboration".

The song Symphony (TBRG Open x Clean Bandit - Official Cover) by ANTYTILA will be possible to hear very soon live during the Hello tour in four cities of Ukraine: June 7, Kharkiv, «Metalist» Stadium, June 15, Poltava, «Vorskla» Stadium, Odesa citizens will hear it on the Independence Day, «Spartak» Stadium, and the capital city with its guests will evaluate the song live on November 17, in the Palace of Sports.

ANTYTILA HAVE GATHERED THEIR FIRST STADIUM!

A popular Ukrainian band ANTYTILA, who have surprised everyone with their choice of the start guest of their tour Hello, on Saturday, May, 25, presented the first live show in the tour, having gathered about 20 000 of fans at Lviv Arena.

The preparation for the stadium tour lasted for two years, as after the final gig of the previous tour "Сонце" ('Sontse' / 'The Sun') the musicians at once started to plan and soon actively implement this idea. Now it's possible to say confidently that they've managed to surprise their fans.

The ‘HELLO’ live show directed by ANTYTILA and Anna Oboyanska is the new format of the band’s gigs having surprised Lviv citizens with massive stage construction, sizes of screens, and number of lighting equipment. What remained unchanged were the songs, quality live sound, the musicians’ energy, and Taras Topolia’s sincere words from the stage.

The band’s fans have received a quality live-show with visual and graphic effects totally plunging into the atmosphere of the songs. Except this, the musicians have led a visual tour through the 10-year-old history of the band. Thanks to the technical partner of the tour, the PR Music Company, ANTYTILA were the first in Ukraine to have presented the most modern sound and light equipment holding the leader position in the world in its segment. 

The musicians have been giving joy to fans with their songs for about two hours and a half presenting the new album HELLO. Except the well known hits TDME, “Вірила” (‘Viryla’ / ‘You to believe’), “Лови момент” (‘Lovy moment’ / ‘Seize the moment’), and LEGO, the band have performed the other songs from the album as well as the hits from the previous ones.

“It is a historical event for us. These are loads of skin crawlings from the stadium choir when together with you, and often instead of you people sing the songs. It is an incredible recognition that for these dozens of thousands of people our music makes sense and has an important position in life. I saw a lot of families with their small children on the stands, I saw children and teens singing the lyrics of all songs. And another half of the gig both the fan zone and stands were madly dancing and jumping. Sometimes I was even worried about the safety”, noticed the band’s leader Taras Topolia.  

The musician has also told that the gig was at risk of failure because of the football match of the National team of Ukraine. 

“There was one detail that the gig at Lviv Arena itself was at risk of failure. We didn’t say anything about it, but somebody supposed that sport and football match on the new pitch cover of the stadium was more important than music. But, fortunately, we managed to fix everything and defend the gig, having though accepted the limits according the half of the stadium and minimizing the threats for the pitch cover and the upcoming match of the National team of Ukraine. Consequently, everything has happened, and we’ve made sure that ANTYTILA are more than just music for thousands of people”, shared his impressions Taras Topolia.

COLLABORATION: CLEAN BANDIT FEAT. ANTYTILA

The owner of the «Grammy» award Clean Bandit and a famous Ukrainian band «ANTYTILA» have joined for the music experiment.

Tuborg has supported the music experiment by «ANTYTILA» and «Clean Bandit», which will be presented in the tour "HELLO" on May 25.

At the moment «ANTYTILA» are preparing a new video. The band doesn't disclose the details, but it is known that the video and song will be presented on May 25, in Lviv during the first gig within ANTYTILA's stadium tour "Hello", sponsored by Tuborg. The song is also going to be heard in other cities, namely Kharkiv, Poltava, Odesa and Kyiv during the live-show «Hello».

ANTYTILA – HELLO / OFFICIAL VIDEO

The plot was based on a post-Apocalyptic story. The main hero played by Oleksii Verenchyk, a frontman of the band Detach, is coming back to the planet Earth after a nuclear Apocalypse to check if it is habitat for life. Oleksii has not just played the main role but also acted as a director. Postproduction has been up to the “Headshot Studio”, one of the most requested production studios in Ukraine and Europe. The “Headshot Studio” used to work with Eminem, Linkin Park, Twenty one pilots, Dan Balan, Vira Brezhnieva, and many others. «This video is the sequel of the story from the video «Лови момент» (‘Seize the moment’): of the fact that the world is brittle. And of the fact that the Earth is our home we need to care about. And there are many of those who forget about it. It was interesting at the filming of “Hello”, a good adventure. We almost drowned the camera. The filming took us about fourteen hours. We needed a swamp, a road, and a field in frame, and we had no time for relocating. Wonderfully, we’d found a field in Kyiv combining everything we were searching for. We’d found a car for the video in a dump, and the grand piano Taras is playing was bought on one of online sales platforms. My suit, by the way, is a real pilot suit. We bought it in a military store. But the most complicated thing, of course, was the video’s postproduction. Especially, if we consider that we made it in record time. We had a bit more than 24 hours for everything – there were only eight days between the filming of the video and its premiere. And beforehand, our team had needed to finish the project for Alan Badoiev. But, it seems to me, it worked, and everyone enjoyed the result!» shared his impressions Oleksii Verenchyk.

We have joined synthesizers and orchestras together, we've done it to the deep senses and warm emotions as well as to dancing beats and ballad motives. What is important, from the very beginning of creating the upcoming album we already knew what the title song of it would be, we were aware of its dramatic effect and quite strained lyrics to be possibly conceived hard by the audience. The «Hello» album consists of ten tracks. Four of them have already managed to become hits and get prestigious awards in the show business industry of the country. These are: «TDME», «Лови момент» ('Lovy moment' / 'Seize the moment'), «Lego» and «Вірила» ('Viryla' / 'You to believe'). Also six absolutely new tracks have entered the album. Each song from the CD has its own visual: official video or audio one with digitalised faces of the band members in the style of the album cover. Maksym Syvolap has acted as an arranger and co-author of many songs in the album. Mastering by Dmytro Khomulko (Bobina records).

HELLO – THE NEW ALBUM

The Ukrainian music band ANTYTILA have presented the cover of their new album «Hello», in support of which a stadium tour across the cities of Ukraine is going to start in May.

«Hello» is the sixth album in the band's discography.
The official release of the CD is going to take place on the Cosmonautics Day - April 12.

The album will consist of 10 tracks, some of which have already managed to become hits and get prestigious awards in the show business industry of the country. These are: «TDME», «Лови момент» ('Lovy moment' / 'Seize the moment'), «Lego» and «Вірила» ('Viryla' / 'You to believe').

The cover of the album is seen as a digitalised face of the band's leader - Taras Topolia. This picture is recognizable having appeared before in the band's intro icons of AntyVlogs, which the team has started up to let all the curious guys know how the preparation for the tour's going on. This picture for the cover wasn't chosen accidentally. Topolia's digitalised face will be one of the key elements of the live-show «Hello».

ANTYTILA – ВІРИЛА / OFFICIAL VIDEO

«Вірила» is the fourth single from the new album. Its release is going to take place in late Fabruary, 2019. ANTYTILA always surprise everyone with their video works full with senses and symbols. The video «Вірила» is not an exception. The video is set upon the idea resonating in every person.

In order to bring their ideas to life, ANTYTILA have covered the way of ten thousand kilometers. The shooting took place in Ukraine and Portugal, not far from Lisbon, and in the municipality Cabeceiras de Basto near Fafe. One of the locations of the scene drawing attention to it is a stone house Casa do Penedo, or «Flinstones’ House». It is one of the top-10 most extraordinary buildings of the world. Its uniqueness consists in the fact that the house looks like a rock on the top of a desolate hill. Enormous boulders serve a few walls of the house. In Ukraine, the scenes in the carpentry unit were filmed. The scene designer Viktor Buchkovskyi had made this location intentionally for shooting the video. Another object deserving attention in the video work «Вірила» is a hangglider as a symbol of realizing the dreams. ANTYTILA had brought a real training hangglider «УТ» created as far as in 1978 to Portugal. It was decorated with wood for filming. It’s worth noting that such hanggliders had never flown in this area – over the Atlantic. ANTYTILA dared to do this.

The main hero’s stand-in Dmytro Khaiit took the risk of completing a few flights without a parachute thanks to which the spectators will be able to enjoy a bird’s-eye view of lovely frames and scenes. It’s worth noting that the syncs in the video «Вірила» are one of the key elements. As planned by the frontman of the band Taras Topolia, it was the first time when the band members weren’t playing the instruments but walking as a team and singing to the camera. As the song «Вірила» is a man’s dedication to a woman. «The idea of the song emerged about one year ago when we had finished our work at the song «Лови момент» in the studio, entered the new fall music season and gathered yet again in the studio to create the upcoming album. We went back to the demo version of this song. I had got a few melodies in my head, and we’d recorded one of them, but there hadn’t been any lyrics yet. That was the period when we went on working at the Polish studio adapting our Ukrainian songs to Polish and English as part of our movement towards Poland. And so, in the train to Warsaw I had listened to an upcoming song probably one hundred times, there were plenty of ideas and metaphors. But the most powerful one was about a woman’s trust in her man: of a beloved woman in her beloved man, of a mum in her son. That’s why this topic had become crucial. It’s one of the most man’s songs in the repertoir of the ANTYTILA band. It’s an appeal from us as men musicians to our wives, it’s an appeal from us as sons to our mums, and it’s an appeal to all women of Ukraine with one simple message: we men can do incredible things, we can overcome obstacles, we can get off our knees and move forward, and move mountains if we know that there’s a woman walking by our side believing in us, and this message concerns not only the musicians of the ANTYTILA band, but, I’m sure, all the men of the country», shares his thoughts Taras Topolia. The song «Вірила» will be included in the sixthe album of the ANTYTILA band «HELLO», in favor of which the stadium tour is up to take place this year.
